Awards from
National Convention:
1. We were voted to be an organization removing
Kentucky from a developing state (a state with
less than 349 members). The path is not going to
be easy to maintain. However, with sheer
determination of the chapters and members
Kentucky will continue on the path of success
insuring a future of our children.
2. The following individuals were recognized as
National Impact Leaders from Kentucky:
Laura Sudduth from Frankfort Jaycees for being
the program manager of Outstanding Young
Kentuckian & Outstanding Young Farmer
Alexis Payne from Tompkinsville Jaycees for being
the top recruiter for the 2nd Trimester as a
brand new member herself
Cindy Farley from Allen County Jaycees for
returning the spark to the chapter while creating
new projects for the chapter
Molly Rice from Frankfort Jaycees for being the
1st state at the National level for running
Family Talk / College Talk and being the top
recruiter for the 1st Trimester
Caitlin Askarpour from Covington Kenton County
Jaycees for her impact in the community area and
for being the top recruiter for the 1st Trimester
Cindy Witherspoon from Allen County Jaycees for
her role as membership vice president this year
for the Kentucky Jaycees.
3. Kentucky was the 1st state to run Family Talk
/ College Talk this year. Year to date only 4
other states have particpated in Family Talk /
College Talk.
4. Currently 6 states are at growth: Kentucky,
Florida, Iowa, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Rhode
Island
5. Currently 17 extensions have been complete.
Kentucky has completed 1 extension
6. Top 5 states in parade of states as of August:
Tied in 5th Florida & Delaware 4th Kentucky
3rd South Carolina 2nd Iowa 1st Virginia
What a list of accomplishments. Congratulations
to every member for the belief that the Kentucky
Jaycees is the young persons leadership
organization of choice.
